Publication of the First Japanese Clinical Study on SpineGuard’s DSG® Technology

SpineGuard (Paris: ALSGD) (FR0011464452 – ALSGD), an innovative company that is deploying DSG (Dynamic Surgical Guidance) sensing technology to ensure the safety and streamlining of bone implants, announced today the first clinical study in Japan that identifies 19 publishing an expert review worldwide about its technology.

Summary of the study

A retrospective collection of Dr. Takashi Yurube from the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Kobe University et al., Which involved twenty-one patients with syndromic / neuromuscular scoliosis. Patients who underwent spinal fixation surgery were divided into two groups, one with SpineGuard DSG fixation; the second without it.

The results between the two groups demonstrated a difference that was statistically significant for all three purposes: leg rejection, screw placement accuracy, and perforation distance. In all three goals, the DSG group showed excellent results.
