Michael Anderson (Legislative Attorney @The ARC of Philadelphia)
Michael Anderson has been a legislative advocate for The ARC of Philadelphia since 2015. He meets with lawmakers from the Philadelphia area at the local, state and federal levels to justify legislative changes that will improve the lives of people with disabilities. Mr. Anderson is also a member of the Pennsylvania Assistive Technology (PATF) Smart Home Advisory Committee. In a previous life Mr. Anderson worked for three years as a statistician at the Philadelphia 76ers. He has also worked in a number of political campaigns. Mr. Anderson is an honorary graduate of Lower Marion High School and received a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Edinburgh. He currently co-owns a home at Marion Station, Pennsylvania. Mr. Anderson has cerebral palsy and is a wheelchair user.

Alexa Bryl (Manager of Social Networks and Websites @The Arc of Pennsylvania)
Alexa Brill received her bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Edinburgh in Pennsylvania in 2013. She has worked at The Arc of Pennsylvania since 2014 as a manager on social media and websites. Alexa also serves as president of the United As 1 Self-Defense Council (SAU1). She is also a member of the Smart Home Advisory Committee through the Pennsylvania Assistive Technology Fund (PATF). Alexa is very passionate about the rights of people with disabilities, and helps them have access to the right technology. She wants to help as many people as possible learn about technology and gain access to the technology they need to be as independent as possible.

George Rousseau (Assistant Technology Assistant @Easterseals)
I’m George Rousseau. I have been working as an Assistant Technology Assistant at Easterseals for fifteen years. Easterseal has been a part of my adult life since 1996 as a client, volunteer, PRC ambassador, and now as an employee. I have a degree in computer science from Miami-Dade Community College. I have been a member of the Smart Home Committee for about a year.

Laura Slotkaff (Therapist and Assistive Technology Specialist @Easterseals of Southern Pennsylvania)
Laura Slotkoff, MS, OTR / L, ATP – Therapist and Assistive Technology Specialist for Easterseals Southeast Pennsylvania. Through her role as an AT Specialist on the AT Interdisciplinary Team, Laura is working to provide innovative solutions for people with disabilities throughout her life. For the past 2 years she has collaborated with teachers, therapists and the AT team to develop 3D-printed assistive technology and use in-house manufacturers ’facilities to benefit students with special needs. Laura is delighted with the ever-evolving potential of smart home technology to improve the independence and quality of life of her clients.
