Vizient Announces 2022 Innovative Technology Exchange, Opens Supplier Application Process

IRVING, Texas, February 15, 2022— (BUSINESS WIRE) – Vizient, Inc. announced today that it is accepting applications for its Innovation Technology Exchange in 2022 and has encouraged the participation of suppliers of medical equipment and technology who wish to showcase their products to health decision makers from across the country. The event will take place on October 17 in Dallas, and the application deadline is April 22. Applications can be submitted here.

The annual Innovation Technology Exchange offers individual suppliers a unique opportunity to showcase their technology to supply chain and clinical leaders from Vizient member hospitals and subject matter experts working on Vizient member boards. Selected providers demonstrate how their technologies improve clinical outcomes, increase safety, or lead to gradual improvements in health care delivery or business models. The event is part of a process that can bring candidates a contract or an appointment at Innovative Technology Vizient.

“Technology, considered by Vizient’s Innovation Council, demonstrates to the healthcare community its potential to make compelling and effective improvements in pressing health issues,” said Debbie Archer, Vizient’s director of procurement who manages the program. “The event is an excellent link between healthcare organizations and advanced technology providers in support of healthcare development.”

The annual Innovation Technology Exchange is part of the Vizient Innovation Technology Program, which includes a review of products provided by vendors, councils and task forces led by members. Since 2003, Vizient has reviewed more than 3,000 technologies as part of its innovation technology program.
