Winter Springs, Fla .– (BUSINESS WIRE) – Advanced IT Concepts (AITC), Inc., a leading system integration firm providing information technology (IT), training and simulation solutions and professional services to the Department of Defense (DoD), has announced the completion of its multi-year multi-million dollar implementation of medical modeling for the NATO Special Operations Allies Medical Education Center (ACME), Kjevr Air Base, Belgium.
The program, led by the Health Modeling and Training Program Manager of the Health Agency (DHA) (PM MST), required an upgrade of the NATO training complex to include modification and integration of the C130 simulated cargo aircraft, Medical Training Software and components for management and control. C2).
To provide a realistic learning environment with 100% accuracy, AITC has provided a hacking of the C130 cargo aircraft hull designed for the film industry. The plane was transported from Tucson, Arizona, to AITC integration facilities in Longwood, Florida, where it underwent a massive transformation. The hull was cleaned, sanded, disassembled rivet after rivet, modified according to the reduced destination, painted, wrapped in pieces and sent to Belgium for installation. At the same time, the AITC has identified and hired two local contractors to carry out the necessary modifications to the facilities, including major changes to the walls, ceilings and new ventilation and air conditioning systems. Then came the COVID pandemic.
For the next 18 months, AITC worked closely with PM MST and NATO to coordinate the delivery, installation, configuration, testing and acceptance of all system components and the training of NATO personnel receiving the system. With the help of several trips, the AITC was able to successfully complete the deployment of a 100% accurate C130 cargo aircraft and the MT-C2 system, which currently provides critical training for special forces medics. During the execution of this contract, the AITC received the highest satisfactory scores in all areas of the Contractor Performance Appraisal Reporting System (CPARS).
“AITC is grateful for this opportunity and is proud of its long professional relationship with PM MST and DHA,” says Gabriel Ruiz, Founder and President of AITC. “COVID has become an extraordinary challenge for all of us, but by working together and staying flexible, we have been able to accomplish this phenomenal task,” Ruiz continued.
